We saw that there was an increasing need to take background checking technologies from the corporate and governmental spheres and make them accessible for private use, as people seek to have more control over their personal information. eKnowID’s online suite of background checking tools, powered by the latest technology offered to banking, employers, housing authorities, non-profits, job seekers, students, and school faculty, is now available to individuals looking to take control of their own personal information or to screen the people who are most intimately involved in their lives.

eKnowID is the latest service provided by the creators of innovative projects such as arrestfree.com, the first identity theft detection system of its kind, C.L.E.A.R (Criminal Link Exchange and Reporting), and collegescreen.com, a screening product for colleges and universities.
